OSX question re RSS (may apply to other platforms)

I use a site with RSS that requires me to enter a username and password. Can I enter them somewhere?

I can access the RSS feed OK  and required TV episode is selected but the Username/password is required by the site for the torrent to download.

I seem to recall you can add the username and password in the rss link, but having never used rss myself cannot give any advice.
