Hello,
I made a Applescript that auto updates a IP filter list that I use. (Who is interested can have it)
So the question is: When qBittorrent starts does it reload automatic the actual filter list or is it needed to push the reload button, to get all the entries of the updated filter list? I guess that qBittorrent reads the filter list by start or does it save the whole filter list in its cache?

Hello,
I would be interested in your work with the AppleScript ... Is it still available ?
Thank you ....

Do you already use a favorite blocklist? Which path you want to store your blocklist? Documents?

Re: "IP Filtering" autoupdate
You can trigger the script periodically with launchd or cron. Report if you have some issues.

Re: "IP Filtering" autoupdate
I was using your list for a while. Therefore I still had the script. But it was blocking to much. Even trackers I needed.
Now I use level1 and level2 which I concat to one file. Download and concat all done by script.

There is an other one from http://emule-security.org/ I'm not sure which one is the best.
PS: You changed the path, so you have to change it in the script I sent to you.

Re: "IP Filtering" autoupdate
Speaking of IP filtering, I tried to input an IP address into the box where you're supposed to choose a file and an exclamation mark at the end says "'http:' does not exist" or something like that. So qBittorrent doesn't support blocklists from web addresses? Transmission supports it. In fact, you would expect support for it. So I'm supposed to download files manually every time I want to use qBittorrent? What year is this? 2003? Using a script is a bandaid solution to a problem that shouldn't exist.
