Settings issue

Post by syn4pse »

Hello!

I have encountered a problem with qBittorrent - v4.1.9.
I use it extensively on my Debian machine as well as my Ubuntu machine, without any problems.

But when I installed it on my Mac and do all the settings the way I want it, and press "apply" and "ok", these settings are not left after I quit and restart qBittorrent.
Never encountered this problem before.

It's just as if the program itself is newly installed and I get the message that qBittorrent is a file sharing program, EVERY time I open it.

But it bothers me that it refuses to save my settings, which it does automatically on my Debian machine for example.

Anyone know what to do to make it work on mac? Has anyone encountered similar problems when it comes to Mac and qBittorrent?

Make sure you give all permissions to qBittorrent and its on the Dock of your OS X... OS X became super messy lately with permissions and stuff. It's a chore to install free/FOSS apps on it lately. They just want everyone to spend 50$ on the Store instead of installing free apps. Sad.
