qBittorrent official forums

I have no idea what is going on....I have Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 and have for a while. I have been running qBittorrent 4.2.4 and everything was fine. All of the sudden I have been having the issue of qBittorrent becoming unresponsive, all my connections disappear in system preferences>networking, I lose internet connectivity and have to manually reboot. I upgraded to qBittorrent v4.2.5. and am having the same issues. The program will work for a few minutes and start down/uploading torrents but then stops, freezes and the process continues. I looked at the qBittorrent log file and didn't see anything that would be alarming but I am also no expert....any help would be awesome!!!

This is exactly what is happening to me, and I am surprised that no much Mac users are reporting this.

I'm not sure what's happening, it seems like that all network sockets are NOT RELEASED after qBittorrent is closed. Only way is to reboot macOS.

This does not happen all the time, maybe it depends on the number of connections open during the qBittorrent session, but for sure qBittorrent is not able to completely freed up the system resources after it is closed, the network stack is unavailable.
