qBittorrent official forums

The player I'm using (Infuse Pro) requires me to name the file in a specific format so that it can link the file with a tv series on trakt.tv. But renaming the file means qbit will fail to recognize the file and no more seed it. This makes me feel bad.
I noticed that there is a rename in the context menu. But it only changes the name inside qbit.
Is there a way to let qbit rename the file in Finder, or to recognize the renamed file?

You could make a symlink to the file.
