Something very small :).

I wanted to slide the remaing time column to the right so it would fit exactly good with the text without the white piece next to it.

Red shows the column that I want to make a little smaller, and Blue shows the white piece that I wanted to remove so it would stay only text without that white piece.
Image

Sliding the column makes the remaining time numbers move to the upper right and a slide bar comes.

Is it supposed to be like that with the new versions (if so im okay with it anyway)?

What I would like to do it is when I slide the column to the right the numbers should stay under it without the empty white piece nexto it (if possible).

As I said, noting big ;). It works great overall.

Are you refering to the ETA column?
Columns that have numerical values are right-aligned now. See here why: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/1903

Yes the ETA column (dumb me, forgot to put it on English XD..). Oh well, that makes it all clear :), thanks.

ETA seems to be messed up. It either wildly fluctuates with unrealistic times or simply displays infinity.

It is somewhat expected in the start of torrent download. qbt does an average of the last N speed samples to display an ETA. It doesn't just divide with the current speed. So it is "slow" to pickup huge differences in the speed which is common when starting a torrent.

I've seen that before too, is there a way, or suggestion to make it update less often (assuming it updates with the refresh interval) make it update every 4 cycles instead?

Or you could simply reduce the GUI refresh rate. :)

I think my problem is something else. Halfway into a 20 GB download qBt was still throwing around ETA numbers from two days to infinity, never settling down on anything reasonable. It took around two hours for the whole download by the way. Just now I downloaded a 1 GB torrent where no ETA showed up at any point, infinity all the way through. It doesn't bother me enough to make a bug report but to have something so basic not work is discouraging.

I also keep seeing my own IP in the peer list.

Do you have steady speed or does it have huge swings?
Would it be possible to take video showing the size+speed+eta columns for at least 1min?

Are you in a local network? Next time note down the value of the "flags" column for your ip.

When I see my own IP it's always a BT connection, not uTP, and it has no flags. Completion is always at 0%. It appears for a few seconds every now and then. I am on a local network and another PC may be torrenting simultaneously. We're not downloading or seeding the same things though.

The ETA problem also comes and goes, I was trying to recreate it but this time it showed normal times. Weird.

All BitTorrent clients "connect to themselves" from time to time, reduce the GUI refresh rate if you pay that much attention and don't want to see it in the list.

Then the other machine has absolutely no way of 'knowing' if it should contact your client or not, and if both machines had the same task loaded you would see the private IP (192.168.n.n) as a peer NOT an external one.

libtorrent 1.0.2 is out. May fix the slowness in the 1.0.x builds.

And probably introduce a whole new bunch of 'bugs' at the same time :)

Evening all, I've noticed that the ETA column remained with Infinite time on a download, from start to finish, with v3.2.0 Alpha on Windows 8.1 32bit, the speed was stable at 6.3~6.5MiB/s

I'll keep DLing some more huge stuff, see if happens again

Edit:
I've changed the picture, removed the names of your downloads. You never know who watches here and knows what you're downloading especially if its illegal. Don't forget next time mate :).
