[unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.3.0RC_20151123_0aaf4d1050e

Post by sledgehammer_999 »

Here is a build of qBittorrent 3.3.0RC sha1 0aaf4d1050e from git master with:
boost 1.59
libtorrent 1.0.7(official release)
qt: 5.5.1

Built using msvc2013

Git changelog from last beta: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... f18455719c

BIG FAT WARNING
The v3.3.x series have a new saving system for torrent progress. It isn't backwards compatible with pre v3.3.0 versions. You'll be presented with a message box to migrate to the new system. If you continue there is not going back.

Not really
You can go back if first you go to the BT_backup folder and remove the trailing "dot number" from the fastresume names. This could break in future releases though.

The stable v3.3.0 release will be made this weekend.

Thanks sledge, will test this till the stable release.

I get the following error popup everytime I startup qBittorrent:

Image

It says that ''there is no disk in the drive'' pointing to qbittorrent.exe. The title says ''qbittorrent.exe - No disk''. When I click continue qBittorrent starts up and works as it should.

Did a clean installation.

Edit:
Never mind, I restarted my system and its solved. Still wondering why it came though.

You may have a torrent saved in the disk mapped from "\Device\Harddosl1\DR1" (maybe under different name) and it was disconnected? I haven't seen a similar error message (in any app) so I have no idea what that was.

I've installed the RC over the existing beta, no problem yet. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the "checking" status sorts in the middle... I think it should go at the ends, first or last...

What is that? Screenshot maybe?

I'm taking about the sorting order.

i.e. Checking > Queued for... > completed > paused > stalled
or
completed > paused > stalled > Queued for... > Checking

I haven't listed them all... I don't know where it is in the code, so I can't check.

I think it might be easier to catch the "checking" state that way.

Yesterday I set shutdown automatically after finishing downloads. After I came back I saw the notification window that the system will shut down in 15 sec. I checked the completed column and the last torrent was completed more than an hour ago. I had no time yesterday to try again the auto-shutdown, but maybe today. Could someone else check this?

Win7 x64.

Edit: I've tested yesterday, the bug is exist, at least for me.

Hello,
I've completed the translation into my language and corrected a few mistakes
Since it's not always clear the context where the strings appear I might have made mistakes of my own
If you're planning to do another RC before the final release please do a sync with Transifex
If not, just do the sync before the release and I will correct the mistakes, if any, aftewards, for the next release

Thanks

There won't be any new RC. This weekend v3.3.0 will be released with synced translations.
Some strings have translation notes or context. Just click the "Details" tab on transifex when you have selected a string. It has various info, plus the context if it exists.

Looking forward to your release, sledge. 3.3 looks like the biggest change to qBittorrent since I've started using it.

Hi Slegde,
really sorry, but I did not see that you asked me to try beta on my thread @github. I switched to latest 3.x in October or so (can't tell precisely, would suggest a basic logfile!), and now I'm on latest RC - which is working OK. Just small hickups, but always unsure if an issue is related to libtorrent or qbt.).

Glad you fixed my report #3602! That hasn't occurred again.

TNX for all your efforts tp make qbt the BEST!
