Download from search

Post by artdog »

I am running Linuxserver.io version:- 14.3.4.99202103280404-7347-2be30a50eubuntu20.04.1-ls124 Build-date:- 2021-03-28T06:14:43+01:00 in a portainer container on my Raspberry Pi - OMV.

I have noticed that the right click - download function is not working within the search results and that the magnet link used with the download function is not the same as the copy download link function.

Is this a bug or have I configured it incorrectly?

Is there maybe a log in there? I think you can also check docker logs with "docker-compose logs" (if you run compose).
I'll move this to the Docker section btw.

I checked the logs. There are no events recorded when I use the download function in the contextual menu.

Since it's a browser thing, could you also check your browser's Console?
Maybe try different browsers?

I've tried with Firefox, Chrome and Safari. All the same.

When I copy a download URL using the contextual menu I get:

Code: Select all

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:2F7FC39822EB5936446F1BE40E136E7B9CBEF4E3&dn=Real%20Time%20With%20Bill%20Maher%202019%2004%2026%20HDTV%20x264-PBS%5Bettv%5D
When I use the download contextual menu the magnet link dialogue opens with the following URL in place:

Code: Select all

magnet%3A%3Fxt%3Durn%3Abtih%3A2F7FC39822EB5936446F1BE40E136E7B9CBEF4E3%26dn%3DReal%2520Time%2520With%2520Bill%2520Maher%25202019%252004%252026%2520HDTV%2520x264-PBS%255Bettv%255D
The second URL is malformed is it not?
