This is actually a problem with mingw+libtorrent. I have reported it in the past but I didn't followup. Anyway link: http://code.google.com/p/libtorrent/iss ... ail?id=536

Renaming the topmost folder under contents within the add dialog resets after adding.

Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
Here is a build of qBittorrent 3.2.0alpha sha1 baaf575eee from git master with:
boost 1.55
libtorrent 1.0.0+svn9948
openssl: 1.0.1g
qt: 4.8.6
Built using gcc 4.9.0.
Arvid released libtorrent 1.0.0 RC so I did a build with latest git master. Test it out.

Installing, thanks sledge. By the way, what is different between lib 1.0.0 and the other one 16.16?

The only thing I can find is this: http://sourceforge.net/p/libtorrent/cod ... /ChangeLog
IIRC qbt doesn't enable atm new features. So it is good to see if 1.0.0 has the same or better/worst performance than 0.16.16

Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
Ah I see, thanks. Quite a few optimizations/fixes. Well I will test and report back how it goes.
Edit
First impressions:
- uTp is now shown as µTP.
- Memory usage is around 20-25MB+- which is very good (note: it is normal to grow when downloading at high speed, or with many torrents loaded up).
- DHT nodes going higher than 180+.
- The speeds are stable for down and up.
I will be using it a bit longer, like it so far.

Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
I changed that in qbt.uTp is now shown as µTP.
The only disadvantage that I observed is that torrents are a bit slow to start. Previous version had an almost instant start. By start I mean down speed > 0.
Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
Instant error on first start after install:
"Incorrect access to memory location"
--8<--
Win7 64. I currently have two jobs on the list. First with 50% completion (error here), second 100% downloaded (looks good).
--8<--
Now second torrent stopped working - exactly the same error.
Code: Select all

Does it happen in subsequent starts too?
If you roll back to 3.1.9.2 does it occur again?

Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
After restarting qBt I get errors just seconds after resuming.
No problems after downgrading to 3.1.9.2

Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
Should this build have the fix for: this baked in already?
Because I'm still getting the issue where it tries to append the share name after a local directory (eg "C:\Program Files\qBittorrent\Downloads\\\Server\Directory\DownlodFolder" instead of just "\\Server\Directory\DownlodFolder")

Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.2.0alpha_20140510
Here is a build of qBittorrent 3.2.0alpha sha1 a6fa27467 from git master with:
boost 1.55
libtorrent 1.0.0svn
qt: 4.8.6
Built using gcc 4.9.0.
This contains code refactoring from Ivan Sorokin to the aim of being much more CPU efficient when you have many torrents(1000+) in the transfer list. We are talking about GUI efficiency, not network efficiency. The latter is handled by libtorrent. The scrolling should be smooth now even if you have thousands of torrents and of course the CPU usage should be minimal.
Those that actually use many torrents can you share your experience, good or bad? Thank you.
