How do I debug errors with the RSS tool? (Mac 3.2.0)

Post by pinafore »

I've been using qbittorrent on a mac mini for a few months now and it's been working great!

However just this past week I started seeing some of my rss feeds from a specific site stop working.  They show up with a red exclamation mark next to them (see attachment).

I don't see any errors in the execution log or any way to debug what is wrong.  These RSS feeds were working a week ago and now are not- so maybe there is something wrong with them or an entry in the feed is malformed- but the feeds load fine in other rss readers and other bittorrent clients.  I don't have any way to debug the issue.

Is there any option or mode to get more detail out of the qbittorrent rss feed tool or any common errors I could rule out to hopefully get my qbittorrent setup working smoothly again?

Thanks!

Small update-

I think the issue I had before was due to https.  By switching the protocol on the feed to http i can now see the list of the items, but they are all https links and those still aren't working.

It seems the root cause has to do with https.

Is there a setting that would cause qbittorrent to stop being able to load https protocol urls for the feed and for torrent links?  Is there a way for me to restore that functionality?

This is fixed now in the new 3.2.3 mac build. https should work. (well it works for me)
