Hi, I have a problem with qBittorent and NTFS disk. When I add a torrent, it pops up I/O error:
I have fully working Transmission, Deluge, uTorrent... so, is there any kind of solution of my problem?
Ubuntu 12.04 x64
NTFS disk problem
Re: NTFS disk problem
Could you translate the Russian error message into English, please?
Re: NTFS disk problem
Are you downloading to a folder on an NTFS formatted disk?
Is the disk nearly full?
I wouldn't suggest using an NTFS disk during download. I would make use of the download to temp folder on your linux partition, and then have qbittorrent move the completed torrent to the NTFS disk.
Also, using windows, make sure the folder permissions are set to allow "everyone" write and read from the folder.

Re: NTFS disk problem
I think you do not have write permission on thet partition.
Anyway... ntfs for torrent under linux not a good idea. usually it makes high cpu load.

Re: NTFS disk problem
I have full access to NTFS disk, it`s just qBittorent problem, all other torrent-managers are working well.
Re: NTFS disk problem
Writing to NTFS under Linux is not really recommended. It'll fragment your whole partition.
