.torrent File Now Deletes Immediately

Post by nemesis48 »

It seems that the newest update has the .torrent file delete as soon as the download starts. In my scenario, I need the .torrent file to continue to exist as I use a local (ram) disk for downloads, then use a completion script to move the torrent to my NAS for long-term seeding with the NAS' (dramatically inferior) Torrent software. Without the .torrent file to copy over, the seeding never starts, breaking the chain of operations. This seems to be a new feature in 4.40.

In Options > Downloads, there's an option for 'Delete .torrent files afterwards', which of course I have UNchecked. Perhaps there can be another option integrated here 'Keep .torrent file when downloading starts' ? This way, the current insta-delete process can continue as the default, but those in this rather unique scenario can continue as they are used to?

Thank you.
