Slow launch speed - v4.4.5 & libtorrent v2.0

As a follow up of https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/13772
4.4.5 (RC 2 both QT5/6 tested) launch speed improved from previous 4.4.X versions, but still take around 2 hours to launch.
Also this is subsequent launches and not first launch.

qB have 5800+ tasks on resume and mem usage is around 2700MB.

It is also noticeable that memory usage growth rate on launch is very slow when compared to previous 4.3.x
For comparison, v4.3.6 took 8mins to complete launch with noticeable faster memory usage growth rate on launch.

At the moment, I don't think it is bug, because it can run normally but just start very slowly.

I don't know any good memory trackers for windows apps, any recommendations?

did some more tests with different builds
something to add is the 2700+mb ram usage is for 4.3.X
4.4.x uses only 500+mb ram after launching
but using lesser memory does not necessary means it is good, especially with the hardwares most modern PC have now
suspecting increased complexity and something not optimised in the new algorithms

qBittorrent v4.4.5 was released.
NOTE: The default builds for all OSs switched to libtorrent 1.2.x (RC_1_2) from 2.0.x (RC_2_0). Builds for libtorrent 2.0.x are also offered and are tagged with RC_2_0. The switch happened due to user demand and perceived performance issues. If until now you didn't experience any performance issue then go ahead and use the RC_2_0 builds.

Your using qBittorrent with libtorrent v2.0 and comparing it with old qBittorrent versions that don't have any memory limit or libtorrent v2.0, so you're not doing fair comparison.

So you either go to qBittorrent - Tools - Options - Advanced settings and increase RAM usage limit from 512 MiB to something higher or start using newest qBittorrent with libtorrent v1.2, which currently doesn't have RAM usage limit and uses old way of caching things that works fine or better than libtorrent v2.0 for many users.

You should also fix your multiple typos, you probably mean "launch speed" not "lauch speed", and since you're using qBittorrent with libtorrent v2.0, as if didn't try qBittorrent v4.4.x branch with libtorrent v1.2, then you better set your title to reflect that. Maybe good to have your issue title as: "Slow launch speed - v4.4.5 & libtorrent v2.0".

Additionally to RAM usage limit setting you can specify your Network Interface and the IP address, should improve speed for some and keep resources bit lower. Otherwise wait for qBittorrent v4.5.0beta1 installers to be made available, should be multiple times quicker to open up.

Thanks, good info.
It is the RAM usage limit causing issues. Took me 2 more hours to re-install and get to the settings page.
Not sure why the ram limit default is set to that low or even exist with modern PCs having 8G/16G+ ram.
