When replying the page should redirect to the updated forum thread

When posting a reply to a thread, the page should redirect to your new reply in the thread and not in thread's parent section. Like other forums do. This helps to read again your answer and maybe read others people's simultaneous posts.

Or maybe you want to keep the thread open in the browser tab so you can update the tab after a few minutes to see if there was an answer.

This is a personal setting, sledge
Go to Profile, under Modify Profile click on Look and Layout and put a tick on Return to topics after posting by default.
About the other people's simultaneous posts - see the next option Don't warn on new replies made while posting. If you want such warnings, there must be no tick.
