I made my own torrent file but it's not working, i think a tracker issue?

Post by billyp »

Hi guys, I created a torrent file on my server using `mktorrent -v -a udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80 -o yo.torrent ahu.m4b` and started seeding it inside qBittorrent-Nox. Seeding server screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/1xEMgRk.jpg (the extra trackers I added later on manually from https://github.com/ngosang/trackerslist `trackers_best_20`)

Now I'm trying to download the torrent on my PC but download is stuck at 0% for more than an hour. Leeching PC screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/ApjPVDI.jpg
Any ideas on what's going wrong here? The server qB client & my PC qB client both work just fine for seeding/leeching independently. But now that I'm trying to seed from server & leech at my PC, it's not working. And just a note: the reverse works fine, creating&seeding a new torrent on my PC & leeching on server.

My server qB client listens for connections on port 32578 btw (I had to fix it due to Myanonamouse reqmt)

Any help or guidance would be appreciated, thank you.

Direct seeding to yourself is always a pain.
I 100% recommend using SyncThing instead.

Ok, it's sorted. I changed the public tracker to another one & it works fine now.
