Unstable download speeds with 1Gbps

Post by seabeeef »

Hi all, I have a 1Gbps fibre connection, use a private tracker and files are written to an NVMe SSD. If I download a torrent with 600 seeds and 0 leeches, or 35 seeds and 0 leeches, speeds will constantly fluctuate between 40-100MB/s. I’ve tested with cache writing enabled and disabled without any change. Could there be something else that is causing this? Hoping to be able to achieve a constant fast download speed.
Currently using qBittorrent v4.5.2 (Lib 1.2.18.0)

Unfortunately there are a lot things it could be. Using the Lib 1.2X is good. I did have problems with the 2.X version when it came to download speed.
How many seeds are you connecting to? It's looks like your able to hit the 1GB. I forgot to say I'm using 4.4.5 and 4.3.9 portable mode on Win 10 LTSC
