Update: did this on the offending PC today. It did not help: Python remains invisible for qbittorrent despite telling Sticky to ignore qbittorrent.exe.

Sigh. I miss the search function now I got used to having it on my other PC :'(

Thank you for the tip. I just tried all 3 of them, one by one. None of them enabled the search engine in qbittorrent :(

It really, really is a fracking mystery :(

You can link this thread too. I think it's the version.h misbehaving for some reason. But that file is beyond me. :(
