I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 x64 with qBT 2.4.7.
When the RSS downloader automatically starts the download, it does not create a directory with the torrent name in my downloads dir. This is with temp dir deactivated. If I activate a temp directory, the torrent named dir is created, but when it finishes the files are put directly in the download dir and the torrent named dir is deleted.
If I start a download manually it behaves as expected. What's up with that?
Is this a known issue and when will it be fixed?
qBT is useless like this.
RSS downloader doesn't create torrent named directory
Re: RSS downloader doesn't create torrent named directory
Hello
I upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 (32bit) to Ubuntu 10.10 (64bit).
I have a separate /home partition and so I still have my original application settings.
Since the upgrade the destination folders of my RSS Feed Downloader filters are being ignored. I have tried creating new filters but the destination folders are still ignored.
How do I fix this?
v2.4.9
Edit: this problem is fixed in v2.5.0rc2.

is this problem still not fixed???
Re: RSS downloader doesn't create torrent named directory
Please don't resurrect ancient threads. However, are you saying it is still happening and it broke somewhere along the lines?Edit: this problem is fixed in v2.5.0rc2.
Also, the oldest version you should be using is 2.9.7-1, if not, look into using the ppa which should update Ubuntu to currently 3.x version. (minimum Ubuntu 12.04)

Re: RSS downloader doesn't create torrent named directory
Sorry for using an old thread, but this was the only one with my problem.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and qBittorrent v2.9.7
When I use automatic download with RSS it does not create a directory with the torrent name in my downloads dir.
I'm using different download dir. to all my automatic rss downloads.
When I doubble click something to download in the RSS feed it creates a folder with the torrent name.

Re: RSS downloader doesn't create torrent named directory
it was solved by update qBittorrent to v3.0.11
Now it works as supposed!
