Search Feature on M1 Mac

If this is possible on M1 mac, how do you enable it? I can’t find an answer to this anywhere.
I've been trying to follow this tutorial https://github.com/qbittorrent/search-p ... ore-recent, although I'm not sure if this is for both windows and mac. My qBbitorrent program has no "view" tab, like it does for my windows version. This appears to be necessary for the installation of the search plugins.
I'm on MacOS Monterey and qBittorrent 4.4.2. on an M1 MacBook Air.

I think if someone could answer this viewtopic.php?p=38756#p38756 that would solve my issue (how to display the "hidden" File Edit View menus on 4.4.2)?
