speed problem 20 mbs max

Hi All, I'm running qB latest build with a paid VPN over FiOS. A speed test with the VPN running (and qB not running) shows about 200 mbs up and down. I get only a maximum of about 20 mbs download of all torrents combined when running qB in spite of tweaking all the settings as suggested here and elsewhere. Any ideas? Thanks.

Classic bit confusion. QBitTorrent measures in MiB/s (mebibyte/second) when dealing with the kind of speed you are talking about. If your VPN over FIOS is actually using the measurement of Mbps (note the small b and no i) then that is something quite different.

1 MiB/s to Mbps = 8.38861 Mbps

So, 200 Mbps divided by 8.38861 equals 23.8418522258 MiB/s which is pretty close to the 20 MiB/s you say you are getting on QBitTorrent.
