I got a request to re-seed a torrent I had previously downloaded to 100% completion. When qBittorrent checked the file though, it overwrote it with an incomplete file that is now permanently stalled at 99.8%. And there's no way for me to get the file back as it was.

Again, that file was 100% finished downloading when I deleted the torrent. A torrent client should not be able to irreparably corrupt completed files like that.
