Using qbittorent when your internet connection runs via a LAN proxy

please could you provide guidance to how qbittorent can be run to open torrents when the PC runs using a proxy server lan connection
all what i do when i connect to my wifi network is change the IP address and port numbers in lan settings, from control panel
in the plan settings of my PC, I use a specific IP address and port number
the torrents I try have always been stalling
