Lock UI on Program Startup

Is there any way to make the UI automatically lock upon startup? I find it odd that the password can be bypassed by killing and restarting the program and/or restarting the computer. I have it set to start with windows so that it can perform its duties in the background, but I do not want it to be open or unprotected unless I actively unlock it for something.
