'Invalid torrent' error message

Post by BigBob »

Hi, since the latest version of BitTorrent (4.5.1), any and every torrent I search for gives this error message when trying to download it:

Code: Select all

Invalid torrent

Failed to load the torrent: C\Users\BigBob\AppData\Local\Temp\tmp_qe_1gee.
Error: expected value (list, dict, int or string) in bencoded string
This error has never happened to me before. Any tips?

First, close qBittorrent.

Seems like the Temp folder is having some issues.

In Search, look for "Disk Cleanup". And make sure to tick "Temporary Files".
Let it do it's job. (It's just cleaning out %TEMP%")

Start qBittorrent again, try again.
