How do I strip trackers off of downloaded torrents?

Post by ticedoff8 »

I have about 500 torrents that I've downloaded using "magnet" links and each one seems to include a list of trackers.
All of these are being seeded, 90% are complete and there are about 40 that are "stalled" or waiting to "Download Metadata".

In most cases with all of them, some percentage of the trackers are dead with various error messages.
My question:
Is there a check-box / script that I can use to tell qBt to strip all trackers off of every file downloaded (except DHT, PeX & LSD)?

I guess there's a 2nd question:
Does having 200 or 300 Tracker "Error" URLs listed rob performance or cause Windows to run out of resources and kill qBt randomly?

I guess there's also a 3rd question:
Why have URLs for Trackers anymore?
