Problem receiving connections from an open port

Post by bruno321 »

I've been using qbittorrent for years now, but for quite a while I've had closed ports (as per canyouseeme.org). I decided it was time to fix this. Not knowing it was a qbittorrent issue, I posted it over at the arch linux forums:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1208354

As it can be seen there, the problem does not persist if I try it out with another bittorrent application (I tested it with Deluge). How can I fix this? Or is it a bug?

One thing for sure, "canyouseeme" doesn't work for me. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't figure that one out. It just says all the ports are closed.
But indeed, as the other forum member pointed out there, something is alien.

It may be a libtorrent bug... but no worries, people will help/post once they will see this topic.

Well, this isn't solved yet...

Both qB and Deluge are using libtorrent version 0.16.5.0, so this should rule out bad behavior on the part of libtorrent.

By the way, "canyouseeme" works for me, I tried it with Deluge and it doesn't have any problems.
