IPv6 location
IPv6 location
Is there really no way the location of a machine presenting as IPv6 can be resolved? I mean to ask- is that possible in general and just a feature that qBT lacks, or is it impossible across the board?
Re: IPv6 location
Not an answer: IPv6 already stopped spreading, and big ISPs already started to NAT the hell out of every network they had.
In my country, they NATed everyone behind, and you have to explicitly ask if you want to have a PROPER shared address. Like you had all along.
So:
- ISPs won't use IPv6, it's costly to introduce.
- NAT is cheaper.
- NAT will prevent people from p2p and other things, which is also good for ISPs.
(Less traffic -> Bigger profit.)

Re: IPv6 location
that sounds really bad. it's not happening in my country so far, thank god. only in households, within the router
