new to MAC, used to utorrent.
I often want to download only selected files. torrent allows me to deselect files. I didn't see that ability in qbitorrent. Is it there?
Also, I would like the option to use either utorrent or qb, but qb takes priority. Is there a way to make a choice?
Possibly these are OSX questions but I'd like to learn.
Thanks.
select files, make qbittorrent optional
Re: select files, make qbittorrent optional
Before you add a torrent select the settings, under downloads, enable the display torrent and some options. This should allow you to select individual files before it starts, otherwise after it's started click the Content tab, should be near the bottom, this will allow you to select individual files after it's started.
Not sure about how OSX handles it but when you install don't choose qB as default torrent program. After already installed, possibly on the behavior tab of options unselect the selection(s) of file associations, should effectively remove qB as the default option for torrent or magnet files.

Content tab now discovered and does what I want.
I learned to change file associations under by highlighting a downloaded torrent file and getting to "info."
Thank you.
