There was just a similar case, guy empited a magazine into his old Dell which had BSOD issues.

Its man against machine! Best way should be to find out WHY the BSOD's are happening, once found fix it and you're done for a long period of time. Mostly failing hardware or faulty drivers/software.
His monitor and keyboard has survived though lol.
