error while trying to update to 3.3.15

today i downloaded the latest version after being prompted when opening qbittorrent and upon installation i get an error:

error opening file for writing:

c:\programfiles(x86)\qbittorrent\qbittorrent.exe

click abort to stop installation, retry to try again, ignore to skip... etc.

i had qbittorrent exited prior to installing upgrade, however after exiting i do recall that i still had a torrent downloading in progress. i'm wondering could that have been the cause of this? after exiting installation screen i try to manually delete qbittorrent.exe however windows wont let me. wondering if this is a known issue- and if so someone please help with how to fix this. i'm at a loss

any help would be greatly appreciated

during the captcha verification.. WHAT'S THE PROJECT CALLED?! (all small letters) i keep having to refresh to get past it, not sure if i'm just dumb or if this is just something i'm missing :|

I too am having trouble updating to 3.3.15. I did have 3.3.14 open at the time of installing but I've since uninstalled and deleted the file and tried to install 3.3.15 again but it just doesn't want to update... please advise.

P.S. I also had a problem with the captcha verification.. "WHAT'S THE PROJECT CALLED (all small letters)"..... It didn't make sense to me either... what IS the answer?

Captcha verification? What captcha verification occur... during download? Install?

I've never seen anything like that...

Same exact problem as original poster on 3 completely different computers.

This looks like Bug #7294.  I added specific details to that issue.
