In the bracket thousands of seeders, but connected to only 5

If you know how torrenting really works you will know that you mostly never will connect to all available seeders at the same time. This is mainly a mix of seeders and leechers but if there are less leechers you will get more seeders instead. Also depends on the setting Connection limit per torrent, lets say its 50 you will connecto to +- 30 seeders and 20 leechers for example, which can be different each torrent. If there are more leechers than seeders than most certainly you will connect to more leechers instead seeders, which is normal. Offcourse a torrent with less people will give you maybe all the available peers but for popular and active torrent you probably won't,
