qBittorrent official forums

One tracker I use has changed its announce address several times. For some old torrents from there the address has changed something like 3 times! In uTorrent I can simply select all torrents needing to be edited and right-click to edit properties, pasting in the new address. Unfortunately this does not edit the file itself. So when I add those files to qBittorrent they error out. I see no way to do what is possible in uTorrent.

Am I missing something? I'm talking several hundreds of torrents. A workaround is re-downloading the .torrent files but that would be a major PITA.

Anything to be done otherwise?

...but the only way to speed up the process would be to join qBitTorrent development and make the code to do that, because it seems the very few remaining qBitTorrent devs are still busy trying to fix show-stopping crashes that happen to a few people.

BTW, we traded posts in the migration thread, though talked about smooth running with a great number of torrents. I'm happy to say I now have qBittorrent purring with 2136 torrents, thanks to your encouragement.

Don't be surprised if I come back asking for help/guidance with the tool!
