I am using qbittorrent 4.2.5 on windows 10. I have been facing issues with this for a very long time and have no way to resolve them. I am presently unable to update this version. After trying to run the update file, it tells me that "unable to remove the previous version" Whatever I try, even after trying to End Task/Service from Task Manager, I am unable to remove the previous version. It keeps popping up on Task Manager, and qbit does not stop running. The downloads are happening but at a snail's pace and no seeding whatsoever (no upload traffic)

What can I do to resolve these issues? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Can't you just like remove the previous version from Programs and Features?

Also, you should back up the settings folder.
