qBittorrent official forums

I have some torrents that I only explore now after many months of being downloaded but the actual torrent files seem to disappear from Qbittorrent . I re-download from the torrent site and I just recheck the files and everything is there downloaded on the HDD but the torrent files themselves disappear from qbittorrent for no reason.
What might be the cause?

qBitTorrent crashing while running can corrupt its torrent list and make it "forget" torrents.
Have you searched here and qBitTorrent's issues on github for others with similar problems?
